Nowhere did the letter in question speak “out against the recent British stance to get rid of “Indians” from the UK?
As of October 2025, no British politician has singled out Indians as a group that should not be allowed in the UK. However, immigration has been a major talking point, with new policies planned and some politicians making controversial statements about immigration in general. Far-right activists held huge anti-immigration rallies in London, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle.
