Meet Britain's next top models
November 13, 2025
|The London Standard
From the Haringey heartthrob to a Victoria Beckham-approved Oxford University student - these are the nine new names to note
You wanna be on top? The UK has produced some of the greatest models the world has ever seen. You know them, but for the fun - we've got Twiggy from Middlesex, Kate Moss from Croydon, Naomi Campbell from Streatham, Lily Cole from Torquay and Cara Delevingne from Hammersmith. Each season, a new flock of towering, glass-skinned beauties rises. What makes a star? Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Management, who scouted Moss herself, says, "We look for someone who can tell a story through emotion and attitude, bringing real personality to each frame. Great models bring presence, energy and storytelling that makes an image come alive. They also understand fashion and people, and they have an ability to lose themselves in front of the camera and connect deeply with the audience." Here are the new names to note.
CHARLIE JONES
The 18-year-old from Oldham recently finished his A-levels but has already opened Haider Ackermann's inaugural show at Tom Ford and is walking for the biggest houses in the business - Schiaparelli, Isabel Marant, Givenchy, Hermès; you name it. He followed in Moss's footsteps by landing the cover of The Face for autumn 2025. The magazine reports he travels with a phone charger, vape, wallet and Monster energy drink. Relatable.
