THE STORIES LIGHTING UP SOCIAL MEDIA THIS WEEK
Is Styles tuning up for a comeback?
Is Harry Styles about to take a break from his busy life of mooching around European cities looking stylish while periodically making out with Zoë Kravitz? It seems so. Four years since he released any new music, rumour has it that Styles is readying for a comeback, with Billboard reporting “industry chatter” that indicates a potential world tour. It follows his brief return to social media over Christmas to release the video of Forever, Forever, an instrumental piano track that he played live during his most recent world tour in 2023.
Turner is facing down the barrel of Bond
London boy Callum Turner may be known best for his engagement to pop star Dua Lipa, but another suffix is quickly gaining traction in his Google results: James Bond. The actor is very visibly in the running for 007, with some outlets reporting that he’s already told his friends he’s got the job. A source close to the actor dubbed it “the worst-kept secret going”, telling the Daily Mail: “He’s been blabbing all over town.” Turner has not addressed the Mail’s claims. Other reports claim that Turner, who has starred in War & Peace and Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts, may not only have secured the role but also set the stage for Lipa to write a Bond theme song.
