NEWCASTLE'S defence could be left shorthanded before the new Premier League season even kicks off.
With Lewis Hall still recovering from a foot injury and Tino Livramento set to be granted extra holiday after playing his part in the Three Lions' run to the Euro 2025 final, Newcastle could be left short-handed for the clash against Celtic.
It remains to be seen whether Matt Targett will still be at Newcastle but he will be the obvious choice for the Parkhead clash on July 19.
