Trophy and team on show for Far East fans in Festival of Football
July 15, 2025
|The Journal
NEWCASTLE United will jet the Carabao Cup to the Far East for their preseason tour to give their global fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Magpies will play three matches in Singapore and South Korea, and kick off with a replay of this season’s Carabao Cup semifinal against Arsenal at the National Stadium.
Before the big kick off, Newcastle, who will also have club ambassadors Shay Given and Shola Ameobi in their party, will meet fans on the eve of the encounter with the Gunners, and the trophy, which Newcastle won by beating Liverpool, will also be on show.
