But podcasts can offer a happy compromise between Call Of Duty and skipping through meadows clutching a flower press.The dependable daddy of them all, Yoto Daily, is hosted by former primary school teacher Jake Harris, who brings jokes, fun facts (you could fit more than a million Earths inside the sun!), activities, riddles and games in refreshing mini bursts.
It quite rightly won best daily show at this year’s British Podcast Awards, beating serious competition from the BBC, The Economist and Bloomberg.
