Tech company reveals solid results and hopes for future

DRINKS and vending data specialist Vianet has described a “solid” set of results in which it has edged up gross margin and Ebitda.

The Stockton-based tech firm, which makes telemetry-based systems for vending machine operators and hospitality businesses, reported broadly flat turnover of £15.3m in the year to the end of March 2025, with a 3.5% rise in Ebitda to £3.59m, before exceptional and share-based payments.

Bosses said the firm's gross margin rose to 69.4%, up from 68.7%, in a demonstration of its operational efficiency.

Net debt was reduced by about 73% to less than £400,000, compared with £1.5m in 2024, after funding an increased level of share buyback of £440,000.
