'SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS' TO PLAYERS' HOME SECURITY
May 22, 2025
|The Journal
Newcastle United have increased security at the homes of players after they were targeted by burglars, a court heard.
-
As four members of an Italian criminal family were locked up for burgling striker Alexander Isak’s home in Darras Hall, it emerged he was not the only player to be targeted by thieves in recent times.
During the sentencing hearing, Newcastle Crown Court heard a statement from Mr Isak saying he was left feeling “uneasy” and “unnerved” by the intrusion last April, in which he had thousands of pounds of cash and jewellery stolen, along with his car.
