DURHAM CRICKET LGE

SOUTH Shields were dominant with bat and ball in their emphatic 25t-run victory at home to South Tyneside rivals Boldon CA.

The hosts batted first, with Bayley Holman scoring an excellent 120 not out from 110 balls - which included 13 fours and two sixes.

He was ably backed up by Sameer Awan (63) and Luke Elliott (41) as Shields reached a huge 321-6.

Sam Sanderson was the pick of the Boldon attack with 4-42.

In reply, Boldon collapsed to 18-4 and were eventually all out for just 70, as Ihsan UI Haq claimed a superb 7-27.
