Sadiki calls on Cats to show their clinical edge

NOAH Sadiki says Sunderland must respond quickly after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Burnley, urging greater ruthlessness and risk-taking as the team targets a reaction in upcoming fixtures.
The Black Cats suffered their first defeat of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign at Turf Moor, which was a hugely deflating result after the 3-0 win against crisis-club West Ham United in the opening game. Second-half strikes from Josh Cullen and Jaidon Anthony were enough to seal the hosts' victory.
Régis Le Bris' side created opportunities of their own, but first-half efforts from Eliezer Mayenda and Chemsdine Talbi went unrewarded.
