Roefs rises to attention of Europe

GOALKEEPER Robin Roefs' stock has risen hugely this season with Sunderland and his displays have alerted clubs across Europe.

Several major European teams are now said to be closely monitoring the Dutchman.
Dutch journalist Valentijn Driessen believes Roefs' displays have firmly placed him on the radar of some of Europe's biggest sides ahead of the summer's transfer window.
The Sunderland stopper's form, he claims, could lead to a significant move.
