Red Bulls bid to do double over Saints

NEWCASTLE Red Bulls have named their side for today's PREM Rugby Cup visit of Northampton Saints.

The 7.45pm kickoff at Kingston Park sees the return of captain George McGuigan, with Tom Christie, Jamie Hodgson and Murray McCallum also coming into the forward pack.

Brett Connon and James Elliott form the halfback pairing, with Oli Spencer returning on the wing as Newcastle aim to record a home-and-away double over the Saints following November's 31-14 victory in the East Midlands.

Head coach Alan Dickens, a former Northampton player and coach, said: "When we beat Saints at their place in the autumn that's the only game they've lost at home all season in any competition, so we've got to take a lot of positivity from that.
