Police issue update after A1 collision

POLICE have issued an update on the condition of two people who were injured in a crash on the A1.

Emergency services were called to the A1 near Causey Park at around 3.40pm on Tuesday to reports of a collision involving a heavy goods vehicle. A number of police vehicles attended the scene, between Morpeth and Alnwick, where a lorry had overturned in the crash involving another three vehicles.
