NEWCASTLE United star Tino Livramento has lifted the lid on the importance of talking about mental health matters at St James' Park.

The full-back supported his close friend and team-mate Lewis Hall through a difficult chapter in his career after an ankle injury ruled him out of the Carabao Cup final.

The former Chelsea youngsters experienced contrasting emotions on the day, with Livramento providing a cross that led to Alexander Isak's goal but Hall forced to watch from afar following an injury suffered against Liverpool earlier in the campaign.
