Holiday park firm sees recovery in key areas
October 06, 2025
|The Journal
NEWCASTLE-BASED holiday park firm Parkdean Resorts has seen a return in demand but posted a second year of losses in accounts for 2024.
The company, which runs 65 holidays parks around the UK, has released accounts for last year in which revenues rose from £507m to £520m.
Over the same period, it narrowed operating losses to £15.9m.
Parkdean said it had seen a recovery in three of its main income streams - holiday home sales, on park spend and owner income - but had to contend with inflationary pressures and the increase in the National Living Wage.
Having benefited from a surge in staycations around the pandemic, the return of many holidaymakers taking overseas trips meant demand for its UK parks was flat, it said.
