Hats off to business celebrating 40 years

Look Twice, in Ponteland, first opened its doors on August 1, 1985.

The designer dress agency specialises in high-end pre-loved ladies' clothing and accessories, which are sold on for the owners who get a share of the sale.

The business was started by Sally Richardson and Isobel Wind who saw a niche in the market selling high-end pre-loved women's clothing and accessories.

Sally and Isobel hired Beverley Hume just after they opened the business, who later went on to buy it and has been at the helm ever since.

She said: "The venture was started by Sally Richardson and Isobel Wind who got together and thought there was a niche in the market.

"They found a suitable shop in West Road in Ponteland and opened the dress agency Look Twice on August 1, 1985.

"It was a designer dress agency specialising in high-end pre-loved ladies' clothing and accessories.
