Every song makes this Book dazzling from start to end

The show, which has won multiple awards across the globe and attracted audiences of more than 17 million, has arrived at Newcastle Theatre Royal for a summer run which has proved very popular with audiences.

The press night was packed with theatregoers, some of whom had seen the production five times.

It was the first time I'd seen the musical, and I was just blown away. I heard it would be funny and risque, which it is in spades, but what I didn’t expect was the catchy and energetic dance extravaganzas.

So if you’re not easily offended, grab some seats and watch this very clever production while you still can.

The story is by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the Colorado-born team behind South Park and Team America: World Police.
