A match to put a smile on Keegan's face

NEWCASTLE United's dramatic 4-3 win over Leeds United on Wednesday evening would have put a smile on Kevin Keegan's face.

That was the verdict of former Magpies goalkeeper Shay Given, who feels Newcastle delivering a win and a performance like that on the night it was announced Keegan is undergoing treatment for stomach cancer, made it ‘even more special’.
Keegan twice galvanised Newcastle United, once as a player in the 80s and even more famously as a manager in the 90s as he took United from Division One to the brink of the Premier League title.
