£20k seized after house raid

THOUSANDS of pounds in cash were seized when police raided a home.
-
Officers from Northumbria Police carried out a warrant at the property on Ellen Terrace in the Sulgrave area of Washington, earlier this month.
While searching the property they found £20,000 in cash along with scales and items police have described as “paraphernalia linked to the supply of drugs”.
