Two relief flights from China carrying essential supplies arrive in Pakistan

ANI: Two relief flights from China arrived in Pakistan on Sunday, carrying essential supplies for families displaced by recent flooding, ARY News reported.

The shipments included 300 tents and 9,000 blankets, aimed at supporting those hardest hit by the disaster.
A formal reception was held to welcome the aid, attended by Federal Minister Engr. Amir Mugam, NDMA Chairman, Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), as per ARY News.
Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik praised China for its continued support, saying China has once again reaffirmed its role as Pakistan’s steadfast friend by extending timely relief assistance for flood-affected communities across the country.
It will augment the NDMA'’s relief support for flood-affected areas in Punjab, according to ARY News.
