Old Royalists' Athletics Club felicitates KLF Wijedasa

Former national athlete, coach and administrator KLF Wijedasa was falicitated by the Old Royalists' Athletics Club (ORAC) on his 93rd birthday at his residence.
-
A plaque was presented to Wijedasa by the members of the ORAC in appreciation of his generous contribution to athletics at Royal College from 1974 to 1987.
Wijedasa who was one of the three athletes to equal O.R. Wijesinghe's (11.00 secs. in 1949) national record in the 100 metres in 1955 coached athletes of both Ananda College and Royal College.
