Mahinda's former Security Chief remanded

Neville Wanniarachchi, who served Chief Security Officer of Mahinda Rajapaksa, when the latter was the President, was yesterday arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and produced before the Colombo Magistrate's Court. He was remanded till Oct 17 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S Bodaragama.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Bodaragama issued the order after considering the submissions made by the CIABOC Tesla shares were more than 3.3% higher at the end of New York trading on Wednesday and have now risen by over 14% this year.
