Lekamge, Yodasinghe win medals at Taiwan Open Athletics Championship

Dilhani Lekamge excelled with a silver winning performance at the Chinese Taipei Open Athletics Championship on Sunday as she reached her seasonal best feat, a distance of 56.62 metres to finish second in the women's javelin throw in Taipei.

Lekamge produced her best feat in her second attempt. India's Annu Rani won gold with a throw of 56.82 metres. Lekamge's other successful throws were measured at 54.06m, 53.60m, 50.17m and 53.13 metres.
