HC orders CID to submit key documents related to case against ex-ministers already incarcerated

he Colombo High Court on Wednesday (06) ordered the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to submit key documents related to the ongoing case against former Ministers Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Nalin Fernando, who are both serving prison terms.
The case, filed by the Attorney General, alleges that the two former ministers, along with former Sports Ministry Secretary Major Gen. (retd.) Nanda Mallawarachchi, caused a significant financial loss to the state by importing 14,000 carrom board
