A restaurant owner has thanked a government scheme that's 90% funded after seeing his business grow by 75%.

For Kelvin Quick, owner of China Red Restaurant in Sheffield, traditional Chinese cuisine has always been at the heart of his business.

What started as an independent, standalone restaurant has now expanded into multiple venues. However, the success has come with challenges.

"I'd been doing it all by myself," Kelvin explains. "I realised that I needed to change my business strategy, my organisational structure, and I needed financial help as well."

To find the support he needed and strengthen his leadership skills, Kelvin joined the Help to Grow: Management Course at Sheffield Hallam University.
