Town's Alfie May has apologised for his dismissal on Saturday
HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Lee Grant has urged Alfie May to "reflect" on the mistake of his red card as the striker now faces a three-game suspension.
The Terriers' forward was shown a straight red for a lunging tackle on Fred Onyedinma in the 25th minute of Saturday's 3-0 loss at Wycombe Wanderers, with the scoreline 0-0 at the time.
The dismissal proved costly for Town on the day, and the Terriers will now be without the striker for three upcoming matches, starting with tomorrow's FA Cup first-round tie at Bolton Wanderers.
The forward will be available to feature in the EFL Trophy at Mansfield Town next week, but will go on to miss League One clashes against Plymouth Argyle and Mansfield.
