Landlady of hotel saved my life after taking me in

64-YEAR-OLD ROUGH SLEEPER THANKS FAMILY FOR COMPASSION

A 64-year-old rough sleeper has thanked the landlady of a Brighouse hotel that took him in after four nights sleeping rough on the streets of Bradford.

The man, who Yorkshire Live has chosen to keep his identity anonymous, took to Facebook after being checked over by medics to thank the Lane Head Hotel, in particular, the landlady Linzie - and her family.

He was sleeping rough outside Greggs with his Labrador Luis when his plight reached the ears - and hearts - of staff at the hotel who took him in on Saturday, October 25, evening. He wanted to share the act of kindness with Yorkshire after the warm welcome reduced the man 'to tears.'

He said both him and his dog are ok but he is now being treated for pneumonia after a 'real threat of dying on the streets.'
