'It's been a tough few days for me... but I always try to do the right thing even when I'm not in the team'

HUDDERSFIELD Town striker Bojan Radulovic insists he always tries “to be focused on doing the right things” regardless of whether he is picked to play.

- By STEPHEN PAGE

Radulovic’s game time has been limited so far this term, with the forward having featured in eight of Town's 19 matches this season, prior to Tuesday's EFL Trophy tie against Mansfield Town.

However, the 25-year-old (pictured) has taken recent chances that have come his way, with the striker netting in each of his last two appearances, against Stockport County in League One last month and Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Reflecting on his season to date, the forward said at a press conference on Monday: “It’s been tough days for me, because when you're not around the team or involved, it's hard for a player.

“I always try to be focused on doing the right things anyway, if I’m involved or not. I try to do my job, be focused, and when I get the chance, just take that opportunity.

“Now the opportunity has come, and it's been two goals already in a couple of games, so I think it’s a positive, and I’m just trying to build on from that, and just looking forward.”

On his recent contributions to the side and his current mindset, Radulovic added: “Maybe now it’s just working for me.
