Franklin warns rival Itauma

BOXING Jermaine Franklin believes it would be dangerous for British heavyweight Moses Itauma to step into the ring with him if he is unsure about next month's fight.

Itauma will end a frustrating five-month wait for his 14th bout on January 24 when he faces American boxer Franklin at Coop Live in Manchester.
Chatham southpaw Itauma produced a devastating first-round knockout of compatriot Dillian Whyte in August to put the blue-riband division on notice, but after various potential opponents pulled out, Franklin has stepped up.
