Family's bid to reunite late son with his mum

DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO PLACE ASHES AT BELOVED MOTHER'S GRAVESIDE

THE family of a lifelong Huddersfield Town fan is appealing for help so that his ashes can be placed at the graveside of his beloved mum.

Ronald Wingham, a former policeman, photographer and a big fan of Huddersfield Town, died last year at the age of 86. His daughters are now trying to trace a long-lost relative so that their dad’s ashes can be placed at his mum's graveside in Barnsley along with a memorial stone.

Ronald had links to both Huddersfield and Barnsley and later moved to Lancashire. He followed Huddersfield Town and ‘was a regular at home matches, often taking family members with him over the decades.
