ARGYLE'S FRONT THREE HAVE 35 GOALS BETWEEN THEM

- By CHRIS ERRINGTON

PLYMOUTH Argyle head coach Tom Cleverley has praised the goalscoring form of his attacking players with a 'back to basics' approach bringing the very best out of strikers Bim Pepple and Lorent Tolaj.

The two front men have both scored over ten goals this season with a brace apiece in Saturday's 5-2 thrashing of League One leaders Cardiff City at Home Park, while fellow frontman Owen Osani also has seven goals this campaign.

In total, Argyle's three main strikers now have a hugely impressive 35 goals between them in all competitions this season with Tolaj leading the way on 17 and Pepple now on 11 - nine of which coming in his last 12 matches.

Cleverley believes the switch to a 4-4-2 formation earlier in the season, after his side had struggled desperately for goals and wins, has played to the strengths of Tolaj and Pepple.
