PLYMOUTH Parkway boss Lee Hobbs believes he has pulled off a real coup in tempting former Exeter City striker Ben Seymour to Bolitho Park.
The 23-year-old forward was released by the Grecians at the end of their promotion-winning season having made 71 appearances in all competitions, but scoring only three goals.
Seymour was always always highly thought of having come through the hugely successful Academy at St James Park and scored plenty of goals when coming through the system. But he was unable to transfer that goalscoring form into the first team, despite having plenty of opportunity to do so.
Now, Hobbs feels that the gifted young striker needs to take a step back in order to get his confidence back, start scoring goals and kick on again and the manager says that Parkway offer him the perfect opportunity in which to do that.
