Raiders rested up ahead of Plymouth derby

JUST under 500 people crammed into the Life Centre to see Plymouth Raiders win their first home game of the season against Surrey 89ers nine days ago, and Raiders will be hoping for more of the same this Sunday when they face Plymouth Marjon on their home court.

Raiders' chairman Ross Mackenzie described the support at the Surrey game and throughout the team's time in Division Three - as "fantastic", especially thanking all those who turned out to see the first win of the season.

He was also keen to encourage fans to come out in numbers again this Sunday, in what will be another huge game, and to create the loud atmosphere we often see at home games.
