BUSINESS LAUNCHES 'CITY'S FIRST-EVER PLANT-FILLED ADVENT CALENDAR'

- KATIE OBORN

Plants are a living advent calendar

A WELL-known Plymouth business has launched a living advent calendar and it's a real treat for house plant fans.

Nook Houseplants has created what they believe to be the city's first plant-filled festive calendar.

The house plant advent calendar is filled with 25 days of plant gifts and accessories - and you even get a surprise plant on Christmas day.

Each plant is in its own individual box and each box has a window at the back to ensure the living plant thrives while waiting to be opened.

Nook Houseplants, situated on Ebrington street, makes up part of a hub of independent shops and businesses. Owners, Becca Langsford and Nieve Perry came up with the idea of a plant-filled calendar, to offer something festive that's also distinct.
