OWEN Oseni will continue to lead Plymouth Argyle’s attack for the away League One game against Wycombe Wanderers tonight with Lorent Tolaj still suspended and Bim Pepple not ready to return from injury.

- By CHRIS ERRINGTON

Oseni was up front for the Pilgrims in their 1-0 defeat by Bradford City at Home Park on Saturday as Argyle’s 10-goal top scorer Tolaj began a three-match ban.

There was a good early chance for Oseni to open the scoring for Argyle when he ran in behind the Bradford defence but his low shot was pushed away by goalkeeper Sam Walker.

Pepple has not returned to training after a calf injury so it means the Pilgrims will not have a striker among their substitutes for the match at Adams Park.

Argyle head coach Tom Cleverley confirmed there were ‘a couple of knocks’ among the Argyle squad following the game against Bradford but added: “I’m sure every League One team will be the same when it’s Saturday-Tuesday you have to patch a couple up but we will be ready.”

Cleverley about Oseni: “His movement is brilliant, he’s always testing defenders where they don’t want to be tested. He has got good pace and he’s really responsible out of possession, setting the press off and things like that.

“He has got a lot going for his game, a lot of things for us to work with. He has scored five goals this season so he can finish.
