GOALKEEPING coach Darryl Flahavan will be leaving Plymouth Argyle after the League One away game against Burton Albion today to join Championship club Sheffield Wednesday, writes Chris Errington.

- By CHRIS ERRINGTON

Argyle are close to appointing a replacement for Flahavan but head coach Tom Cleverley admitted it had been a 'challenging process' over a number of weeks due to the club's location in the far southwest of England.

In the meantime former Argyle first team goalkeeping coach Rhys Wilmot, who now works within the club's academy, will be tasked with putting Luca Ashby-Hammond, Conor Hazard and Zak Baker through their paces ahead of the game against Ryan Lowe's Wigan Athletic at Home Park next Saturday (October 4).
