CURTIS ANNOYED BY GOOD FIRST HALVES AND POOR SECONDS

- By CHRIS ERRINGTON

RONAN Curtis has admitted back-to-back defeats against promotion contenders Stockport County and Lincoln City have left Plymouth Argyle with one big problem to solve.

Argyle opened the scoring and produced good first half performances away to Stockport and at home to Lincoln but they ended up losing both games 2-1 to put a halt to the good run of results they had been on before that.

Curtis is hoping the Pilgrims can learn the lessons from those matches and get back to winning ways, with an away game to come this Saturday against Blackpool.

"Last couple of weeks it has been the same outcome really, first half be on top and score first and then concede a couple," said Curtis, who joined Argyle from Port Vale last month.
