DRAKE CIRCUS TURNS INTO A PLACE OF ARTISTIC ACTIVITY

THOUSANDS of visitors experienced an array of artistic activities in the heart of the city centre last weekend.
The City Layers project a celebration of Plymouth’s art and culture - took place at Drake Circus on Saturday.
Shoppers watched in wonder as Plymouth spray-paint artist Jon Lilly created a live piece of art throughout the day. Sketching then spraying onto a supersize canvas, Jon developed a piece of art that captures a variety of local landmarks, from Smeaton’s Tower and Home Park, to Dance Academy and the Tamar Bridge.
