TRANSFER WINDOW SHUTS ON MONDAY
TOM Cleverley has his sights set on adding another midfielder to his Plymouth Argyle squad now that the club have finally brought in a striker to wear their number nine shirt.
The Pilgrims completed a £1.2 million move for Swiss striker Lor-ent Tolaj from Port Vale last Friday and the 23-year-old made an immediate debut as he was included in the starting lineup by Cleverley for the League One game against Blackpool at Home Park on Saturday, which his side went on to win 1-0.
The transfer window shuts on Monday and Cleverley wants to add one more new recruit in midfield to add to the 12 summer signings who have already been brought in.
The Pilgrims' capture of Tolaj came after the earlier signings of centre-backs Alex Mitchell on a season-long loan from Championship club Charlton Athletic and former Denmark under-21 international Mathias Ross.
