City gets ready for Pride festival

PLYMOUTH Community Pride festival takes place today - and has unveiled the full lineup for the city's big LGBTQ+ celebration, including a picnic, all-day live music, art market and a drag-themed bingo party.
-
The day - organised by a group of volunteers who stepped up to make something happen for Pride after the official event was cancelled - will feature community events for “all ages and interests”.
They are being supported by a host of Plymouth businesses and charities, including Queer Out Loud, the Barbican Theatre and Deart Promotions.
