CHILDREN'S PLAY CENTRE FOR ROYAL PARADE ALSO PROPOSED
A CHILDREN's home, a care home expansion and a new children's play centre are among the latest plans submitted to Plymouth City Council.
Applicants Care@142 Ltd have applied to the council to change a residential property into a children's care home at Victoria Road.
They are seeking to provide accommodation for up to five children aged between eight and 17 years.
Planning documents say the two storey dwelling at number 142 Victoria Road has enough internal and external space to support the proposed use.
The property is close to school, healthcare and community amenities and has good transport links to other local services.
A minimum of two carers will be on duty during the day with one staff member overnight and a registered manager will oversee the operation of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and local authority requirements.
