SHE'S known as one of Plymouth’s best young poets but Cat Rose is also a rising star as a folk indie singer-songwriter - and she’s just about to go on tour.

Cat will play the B-Bar at the Barbican Theatre on Friday, October 24, and with a full band. The last time she played there it was a sellout.
This time, the gig is the first night of a tour, with her appearing at Exeter Phoenix's Studio 1 on November 4, with dates to follow in Camden, in London, Brighton, Darlington and Newcastle.
Cat has featured on BBC Introducing, which has broken several musical stars, and her debut EP Waste Land was described as “an atmospheric listen that takes you on a journey through chapters of a story of darkness, isolation, whimsy and magic”.
