Austin hits top form in Bluebird's Indian win

PLYMOUTH CITY SUPER LEAGUE

Austin capped his impressive night with a 3-2 win over Eddie Bull that was ushered over the finish line with a 16-dart leg for the former.

Bull himself performed admirably all evening with ten tons, but the top scorer honours went to team-mate and grandson, Harry Bull, with 11 scores of a ton or more.

Bull Jnr was also bettered in the individual phase, 3-2, with Lee Roberts coming out on top thanks in part to one of his two maximums in the match overall.

Dale Halford added a third 180 for his side, whilst Leighton Wilson was the 180 hitter for the defeated side, and added an 88 checkout to his brilliant night's work.

That effort was only bettered by Jack McMinn for the home team, who nailed 93 in a single visit to go alongside a ten-ton personal tally in what was a top performance individually - and for the team.

Antony Hayman's star shone the brightest for King Billy in a dominant 10-1 win for the Devonport outfit, to which Hayman contributed 13 ton-plusses.

Hayman (32.68) blasted through his 3-0 individual win with two legs in 14 darts joined by an 18-darter that blew away his opponent.

A third leg in 14 was ploughed home by the visitors as Paul Goundry netted one on his way to another 3-0 win, whilst two midrange checkouts were added in the match-up.

Mark Yeoman's 90 finish was the only combination to better a 71 kill by Andy Pengelly, who added the only moment of magic for the home side.

A Cherry Tree derby match was dominated by the form of Frankie Stout, who plundered 13 tons in a 10-1 win for the C team against their A side, who were the designated away side for the night.

Stout's tally was ticked over to that mark by a 118 checkout that was the only effort to better a 105 threedarter from the very same arm.
