Allotment site is repossessed over trespass incident

A FORMER Plymouth allotment site has been "repossessed" by the council after a trespassing incident.
The allotments on Barbican Road in Plympton St Maurice have been closed after incidents including a historic stone wall being damaged and a “hedge being tampered with”.
The allotment site has not been in use as a growing area for quite some time, locals have said it has become “a little piece of land that nature has taken back creating a great habitat for wildlife” - but recent trespassing has caused concerns.
