A LITTLE KNIGHT MUSIC

Soul queen Beverley Knight tells MARION McMULLEN she was born to perform
-
32 years - and then more latterly my life in musical theatre. And I'm somehow condensing it into a couple of hours of performance every night. Honestly, I can’t wait.
There are some songs people are going to kill me if I don’t include. I can’t imagine not singing Should Woulda Coulda for example.
Has it been fun putting everything together?
It has been a real, real joy. It's all kinds of everything and songs which you just wouldn't imagine and tied together in a real interesting way, which is what I wanted. I want people to get the same feeling they get when they come and see a theatre show, but instead of acting in the middle, it is just song after song after song. Bam, bam, bam. I’m going all over the place because my musical church is very broad. It is so vast. It is why I had to call the tour Born To Perform. It’s all I have ever done.
