BUDGET TITLES SERVE UP YOUR GAMING FIX WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

- CHERYL MULLIN

A cheap knight in

CALL me tight-fisted, but when I'm looking for a new game to play, I'm always thinking about the price.

Life's not cheap right now and it's hard to justify splurging £50+ on a new game.

So it's good to know indie game developers have got my back, offering a less guilty alternative.

Often much cheaper than the big releases, indie games are just as good - if not better - than some of the titles from the bigger studios.

So if you're hunting for your next gaming fix, but don't want to go over budget this March, here are a few titles that should be on your radar.

imageKNIGHTS IN TIGHT SPACES

(PEGI 16) PC Price: £15.99

Fights in Tight Spaces was a surprise hit back in 2021. The turn-based, Roguelike, deck-building beat-'em-up did what it said on the tin, and had you battling it out in confined areas. This follow-up sees the guts of that game carried over, with a medieval twist.

Boasting a striking appearance and a surprisingly good electronic soundtrack, you have to battle your way through the levels, building the strength and skills of your cards in order to take on more baddies.

AI LIMIT

(PEGI 12) PS5, PC Price: £28.99
