Stones snatches victory as Wolves rue VAR again

Wolves' coaching staff and substitutes celebrated like they had clinched a first victory of the season. Then the message rained down that the VAR, Stuart Attwell, had recommended the referee, Chris Kavanagh, go to the monitor to take another look.

Stones blew kisses towards the delirious away end, jumped over the advertising hoardings, and Josko Gvardiol, who scored a beautiful equaliser in the first half, grabbed Stones so tightly he appeared to rip his shirt. The champions had found a way.
