Seven people have been arrested as part of a murder investigation into the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old man in Derbyshire on Saturday night, police said yesterday.

Seven held after fatal stabbing of 18-year-old in Derbyshire

East Midlands ambulance service contacted police at 8.20pm on Saturday to report that a man had been stabbed on Rose Avenue in the town of Ilkeston.

Arriving at the scene, officers found an 18-year-old man on the road with a stab wound. Emergency services tended to him but he was pronounced dead on nearby Heanor Road, Derbyshire police said.
