Celebrity chefs campaign for pupils as young as four to be taught cookery

Famous names from the world of food Prue Leith, Delia Smith and Stanley Tucci are backing a call to get children cooking at primary school.

The trio are taking their campaign to parliament today, arguing that hands-on cooking lessons lead to significant improvements in pupils’ cooking and life skills, as well as their understanding of healthy eating.
