Coastal homes command an £88,000 premium if they boast a sea view, according to a property website.
Coastal homes command an £88,000 premium if they boast a sea view, according to a property website. Rightmove said the average asking price for a place overlooking the sea was £363,182. This compares with an average of £275,075 for a coastal home lacking a sea view - a difference of £88,107, or 32%.
The figures are based on asking prices in more than 200 coastal locations around the country.
